About Jawali

Jawali is an electronic wallet service licensed by the Central Bank of Yemen and operated by WeCash in partnership with Yemen & Kuwait Bank, Yemen Commercial Bank and the Yemeni Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Aimed at the large share of Yemenis without a formal bank account, it lets users hold and move money electronically, and connects to Yemen's established local remittance networks - Al-Najm, Al-Emtiaz and Yemen Express - for domestic transfers.
