About ViaBus
ViaBus is developed by Via Group (Thailand) and has more than 10 million users. It shows the real-time positions of buses and passenger boats, and since August 2026, in a partnership with BTS, also trains on the Green Line (Sukhumvit and Silom routes) and the Yellow and Pink monorail lines. Combining these modes helps plan transfers in one app. The app is free and available for iOS and Android.

How to Get Started
- Install ViaBus from the App Store or Google Play.
- Allow location access to see nearby stops.
- Search for your bus number, stop or station.
- Watch the vehicle approach on the map and go to the stop in time.
Before you use it
- Good to know: Search by bus number or by stop to see vehicles currently on the route; not every bus carries a tracker, so some trips are missing from the map.
- Limits: Real-time train tracking covers the BTS Green, Yellow and Pink Lines; the MRT Blue and Purple Lines were not part of the August 2026 launch.
- Payment: The app does not sell tickets: pay bus fares on board and train fares at the station.
