About HomeTax: HomeTax (hometax.go.kr) is the official online tax-administration service of Korea's National Tax Service (국세청), letting individuals and businesses file and pay taxes, issue and manage tax invoices and cash receipts, and request tax certificates without visiting a tax office in person. A companion mobile app, Sontax (손택스), covers many of the same functions from a phone. Certificate Issuance: Request and print official tax certificates and proof-of-payment documents online. Pre-Filled Data: For many filings, HomeTax pre-fills known income, health-insurance and deduction data to speed up the process. Limited English Support: A separate English interface (nts.go.kr/eng) and a dedicated foreign-taxpayer phone line cover key services for non-Korean speakers. How to Get Started: Visit hometax.go.kr and register using your Resident Registration Number or, as a foreigner, your Alien Registration Number. Verify your identity using a digital certificate or a supported simple-authentication method (such as Kakao, Naver, KB or Toss). Navigate to the relevant filing or certificate-request menu under "All Menus". Complete and submit the filing, or download the requested certificate.
