National Electric Network of Kyrgyzstan (NESK)

The national electricity distribution company of Kyrgyzstan, whose website and Moy Svet app let tenants and homeowners in Bishkek and other regions check an electricity account balance, see bills and outage notices, and pay by account number.

About NESK

OJSC National Electric Network of Kyrgyzstan (NESK) is the state electricity grid and supply company; in 2023 the regional distributors Severelectro, Vostokelectro, Oshelectro and Jalalabadelectro were joined to it. Its single website nesk.kg opened in August 2023 with a subscriber balance check, a calculator, tariffs, outage information and links to the sites of its regional network enterprises. The Moy Svet mobile app was launched nationwide in June 2023 after a pilot in Bishkek. In Bishkek, local news in 2026 names the Bishkek Electric Networks Enterprise (BiPES) as the operator that bills and, for debts, remotely disconnects subscribers.

Key Features

  • Balance Check: Look up the balance of an electricity account on the website in the subscriber balance section.
  • Moy Svet App: See balance, payment history, consumption and electronic bills, available in the App Store and Google Play.
  • Notifications: The app sends alerts about debt, due dates, planned and emergency outages and reconnection.
  • Call Centre: Help on the short number 105 and on 1209 numbers, including a WhatsApp line.

How to Get Started

  1. Find the personal account number on your electricity bill or ask your landlord for it.
  2. Check the balance on nesk.kg or in the Moy Svet app.
  3. Pay by account number in a banking app or e-wallet, at a payment terminal, at a bank cashier or at a Kyrgyzpochta office.
  4. Call 105 if you do not know the account number or need to report a power outage.
⚠️ Important Notice

The website and app are in Kyrgyz and Russian, and using the app has required signing a voluntary supplementary agreement with the company. Accounts with unpaid debts can be disconnected remotely, so tenants should check that the landlord or previous occupant has no arrears. The app has had outages, for example in September 2025, and payment through banks, wallets and terminals then still works by account number.
