Snoonu
Order food, groceries, laundry pickup and more from Qatar's homegrown super-app, delivered by one of the country's largest rider fleets. About Snoonu: Snoonu began as a 2016 capstone project by Hamad Al Hajri and Saud Al Attiyah at HEC Paris in Qatar, launching commercially in 2019-2020 from what Al Hajri has described as a small team working out of a garage office. It grew rapidly into Qatar's leading on-demand delivery platform, expanding into Oman with its 2022 acquisition of delivery app Akeed and becoming the first Qatari startup to cross a QAR 1 billion valuation. In April 2026, Saudi Arabia's Jahez — itself a major regional food-delivery company — acquired Snoonu for approximately $245 million, while Snoonu continues to operate under its own brand in Qatar. SnooMart: Shop groceries and everyday essentials directly through Snoonu's own grocery marketplace within the app. Everyday Services: Book laundry pickup, car services and event tickets alongside food and grocery orders, all from the same app. Wide Merchant Reach: Access delivery from merchants in areas that previously had limited reach with other delivery platforms. Add items to your cart or book a service, and place the order. Track your order or service request and pay online or on delivery.
