🍔 Food Delivery
Talabat
Order food, groceries and everyday essentials from thousands of restaurants and shops across Kuwait, all from the app that started the Gulf's on-demand delivery industry right here. About Talabat: Talabat ("orders" in Arabic) was founded in Kuwait in 2004 by four students, modeled on an Egyptian food-ordering service, making it the country of origin for what became the Gulf's leading food-delivery platform. Germany's Delivery Hero acquired the company in 2016, and Talabat now operates across Kuwait, the UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Jordan, Egypt and Iraq, offering not just restaurant delivery but also Talabat Mart, its own network of delivery-only supermarkets. In July 2026, Uber announced an agreement to acquire Delivery Hero (including talabat's Gulf operations) for roughly $14.8 billion; the deal had not yet closed as of this writing. Key Features: Restaurant Delivery: Order from thousands of restaurants across Kuwait, from local eateries to international chains. Talabat Mart: Get groceries and household essentials delivered from Talabat's own network of delivery-only supermarkets, typically faster than a regular grocery order. Live Order Tracking: Follow your order's status and the delivery rider's location in real time from checkout to arrival. Flexible Payment: Pay by card online or choose cash on delivery. How to Get Started: Download the Talabat app or visit talabat.com. Enter your delivery address to see restaurants and Talabat Mart items available nearby. Browse or search for what you want, add it to your cart, and place the order. Pay online or on delivery, and track your order until it arrives. Important Notice: Talabat is a marketplace connecting customers to independent restaurants alongside its own Talabat Mart stores, so delivery times, menu availability and pricing for restaurant orders are set by each individual restaurant rather than by Talabat itself.
