🏛️ Government Services

Sanad

Access more than 550 Jordanian government services from a single digital ID account, without visiting a government office for most transactions. About Sanad: Sanad ("support" in Arabic) is the official digital identity and e-government platform of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, developed by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship and launched in February 2020. It provides single sign-on access to services from more than 50 government and private-sector entities — including passport and civil-status records, health insurance, social security and vehicle licensing — as part of Jordan's broader digital transformation strategy. Key Features: Digital Identity: Authenticate your identity once and access government records and services across dozens of participating entities. Document Access: View and manage official digital documents, including identity records, property ownership and pension information. Applications & Payments: Apply for services such as passport issuance or renewal, sign documents digitally, and pay government fees within the app. Guest Access: Non-activated users and non-Jordanians can use limited features as guests without full digital ID activation. How to Get Started: Download the Sanad app or visit sanad.gov.jo. Register with your national ID number and mobile number. Activate your digital identity in person at a Sanad station or through a supported banking app, or use limited guest features without activation. Browse services by category and complete an application, document request or payment directly in the app. Important Notice: Full activation of a digital identity — required for most services — still needs an in-person visit to a Sanad station or activation through a partner bank; guest access without activation covers only a limited set of features.
