It now operates across Bahrain, Kuwait, the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Jordan, Egypt and Iraq, offering not just restaurant delivery but also Talabat Mart, its own network of delivery-only supermarkets. In July 2026, Uber announced an agreement to acquire Delivery Hero (including talabat's Gulf operations) for roughly $14.8 billion; the deal had not yet closed as of this writing.
