About Sahibinden

Sahibinden.com ("from the owner" in Turkish) was launched in Istanbul in February 2000 by Taner Aksoy, Vice Chairman of the Aksoy Group, at a time when classifieds in Turkey still lived almost entirely in newspapers. It started with 2,700 listings and has grown into Turkey's largest classifieds and e-commerce platform, with more than 60 million visits a month and over 6 million active listings across categories including real estate, vehicles, electronics and job postings.
