- Flight or hotel changed after submittingThe "Update Arrival Card" function lets you change the flight, arrival date, accommodation and contact details without filing a new card.
- Arrival cards for the whole familyEach traveller, including infants and children, needs their own card; the form lets you add fellow travellers in one session.
About Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)
TDAC is run by the Immigration Bureau of Thailand and replaced the paper TM6 arrival card. The form asks for passport details, flight or travel mode, purpose of the trip, the address of the first night and a short health declaration. After submission a QR code arrives by email, usually within minutes, and is shown on the phone at immigration. The same form is available in the THIM app of the Immigration Bureau, which can scan the passport to fill in details.
Key Features
- Official and free: The form at tdac.immigration.go.th and the THIM app charge nothing.
- QR code by email: The confirmation is linked to the passport number and does not need to be printed.
- Editable details: Flight, arrival date, accommodation, phone, email and health answers can be updated after submission.
- Group filing: Fellow travellers, including children, can be added in the same session, each with their own card.
How to Get Started
- Open tdac.immigration.go.th or the THIM app within three days before arrival.
- Enter passport details exactly as printed, then the flight number and first-night address.
- Answer the health declaration and submit the form.
- Save the QR code from the email and show it at immigration with your passport.
Before you use it
- Sign-up: The form accepts arrival dates up to three days ahead, counting the arrival day; earlier submissions are rejected. Filing at the airport on arrival is also accepted.
- Fees: The official TDAC is free. Sites with other domain names that charge a "processing fee" are unofficial resellers.
- Good to know: Name, passport number, nationality and date of birth cannot be edited; a mistake there means filing a new card. The latest valid submission is the one used.
- Limits: Airside transit passengers are exempt, but a connection that clears immigration, such as Suvarnabhumi to Don Mueang, needs a TDAC.
