About YallaGo
YallaGo is a Syrian ride-hailing company founded in Damascus in 2018, offering taxi rides across several vehicle classes plus motorcycle courier delivery in major Syrian cities. Built and grown locally through years of war and sanctions, it became the name Syrians default to for a ride - "when we want to order a ride in Syria, we say we're getting YallaGo," even when using a different app.
Key Features
- Multiple Vehicle Classes: Choose Classic (budget, often non-AC), Comfort (modern AC vehicles) or VIP (larger, luxury cars) depending on the trip.
- Upfront Fare Estimate: See an estimated price before booking, though final pricing is dynamic and can shift with demand and time of day.
- Motorcycle Courier Delivery: Send small packages across the city using the same app.
- Trip Tracking: Track your Safeer's location as they head to your pickup point.
How to Get Started
- Download the YallaGo app and register with a local Syrian mobile number.
- Enter your pickup point and destination to see an estimated fare and available vehicle classes.
- Confirm your ride and track your Safeer to the pickup point.
- Pay in cash at the end of the trip - the standard payment method.
