About Saudi Post
Saudi Post (البريد السعودي, commonly called "al-Bareed" within the Kingdom) is Saudi Arabia's government-operated postal system, founded in 1926 and now branded internationally as SPL. Its network covers every city and village in the Kingdom through 478 main and roughly 180 branch post offices, and beyond standard mail and parcels it runs several dedicated digital services: Wasel, which assigns homes a unique GIS-based postal address for direct delivery; Jamaee, which sends university admission documents to Saudi public universities for free; and Mureeh, which routes government paperwork between citizens and ministries.
Key Features
- National Address System: Register a short, standardized address (Wasel) so parcels and mail can be delivered directly to your home or business rather than a shared P.O. box.
- Postage Calculator and Online Bill Pay: Check shipping costs by weight and destination, and pay outstanding postage bills online.
- International Shopping Delivery: Shop from international retailers and have purchases delivered to your Saudi national address through Saudi Post's Shop Now service.
- Bulk Shipping for Businesses: Purchase bundles of 20+ domestic shipments at once through the platform for regular senders.
