About Ooredoo Qatar

Ooredoo was established by the Qatari government in 1987 as the Qatar Public Telecommunications Corporation, becoming "Qtel" after a 1998 IPO that introduced public shareholders while the state retained control, and rebranding globally to Ooredoo in 2013.
