About eTransit Punjab

eTransit Punjab is developed by the Punjab Information Technology Board for the Punjab Masstransit Authority and is available for iOS and Android. It gives access to transit network details, live arrival and departure times and real-time notices about delays and schedule changes. In 2026 the authority removed tokens and old cards on Metrobus and the Orange Line, and fares are now paid by T-Cash card, mobile app or bank card. Payment features in the app are linked to Pakistani systems such as Raast QR and the T-Cash card.

Key Features

  • Live times: Arrival and departure information updates in real time for each station.
  • Service alerts: Delays, disruptions and timetable changes are shown in the app.
  • Network details: Routes and stations of the mass transit network are available in one place.
  • Cashless fares: The app is one of the ways to pay fares since tokens were withdrawn.

How to Get Started

Before you use it

  • Payment: Metrobus and Orange Line no longer take tokens; fares are paid by T-Cash card, the transit app or a bank card at the gates.
