About Sundarban Courier Service

Sundarban Courier Service was founded in Dhaka on November 1, 1983 by two friends, Iamamul Kabir Shanto and Hafizur Rahman Pulok, who had seen how Germany's postal service operated during their time there and believed Bangladesh's growing population would need a similar private courier option. At the time, Bangladesh's delivery options were limited to unreliable government post and air-express services that depended on airport access - Sundarban became the country's first by-road private courier company, going door to door. More than four decades later, it has grown into Bangladesh's largest courier service, covering all 64 districts through more than 600 outlets and branches.
